Halloween. Well technically Nov 1st... 2am, everyone's asleep and I realized I had forgotten to take a picture because I worked all day and rushed to my parents house to see Hanna trick or treating. I made sure I had the camera but then I was so caught up in taking her door to door, I didn't take any pictures.

Having a early rising little panda means I get to see a lot of sunrises. My favorite thing about this apartment is the amazing light on clear mornings as I watch the sun come up with a coffee.

On our walk we stopped at a patch of flowers and Hanna started pointing at them. I tried to keep walking with her saying 'Yes, I see the flowers, and making the sign for flower.' She kept shaking her head at me and pointing. It wasn't till I got down to her level till I saw what she was seeing - a whole patch of baby snails!

I have this really rad friend/soulmate named Phoenix. You might have mistaken her for Kurt Cobain though. Happy 27th Pheener!

I cheated, Syx took this picture today while Hanna I 'helped' set up his class. I'm pretty used to standing in for light tests by now.

On Thursday night I fell asleep on the couch at quarter to nine and missed even more bad tv.

Sometimes on Wednesday night the best thing to do really, is drink champange and watch America's Next Top Model with your favorite girls. My set up shots were in focus so I thought this would be gravy but all the ones with me in them are out of focus - fail.

A long exposure, taken in the chapel of the hospital I work at. Super old awesome building. I took this shot all super rebel as well. There's something about being in a church that always makes me feel strange and reverent. I found myself genuflecting out of habit even though I haven't stepped foot in a Roman Catholic church for about 10 years. I guess old habits die hard.
