When Syx proposed to me, he tattooed his knuckles-- so this was only fair.

So many times I've heard Syx yell, "We have to get this shot before the light changes!"

The sunset this evening flooded our apartment with this amazing orange light. I took about 5 frames before the light completely disappeared. This was the first frame.

Yesterday was beyond beautiful, it felt like summer was not escaping, but just beginning!. Hanna P and I went to the park before dinner and she helped me take this shot.

Countdown till next summer.

I have really big hair. I think it has a mind of it's own. I couldn't decide which one of this shots it looked more epic in.

I took this photo in the alley I walk almost daily with my family. The shortest point from our house to VPW, where Syx teaches photography classes. The security mirror is attached to the parking garage of some sort of police building, they don't like it when you take pictures here, I was all rebel rebel though, nbd.

Self Portrait

I took this self portrait during Syx's Nude in the Environment workshop this summer in the Slocan Valley. Everyone was out shooting in the field, Hanna was sleeping and the light in the bathroom was amazing. I really liked the way the light was coming in through the window and spilling into the bathtub. I think this photo is a really nice reflection of me and how I was feeling that weekend in terms of being a photographer (a term I use very lightly) vs being a model.

Hanna Panda

This is my daughter Hanna P.

I took this photo in May, right when Vancouver was beginning to see it's first signs of summer. I remember this day really well because I was hanging out with my good buddy Phoenix and we were out for a walk by Science World. We stopped to hang out on the rocky beach for awhile with HP and take a few photos. After this shot was taken I stood up to take my sweater off and as I threw my arms out my engagement ring went flying off my hand into the sand. P was a trooper while I cried hysterically and combed the rocks. Luckily we found it after only a 15 minute search. I would've been dead meat if I had've been standing a few inches closer to the ocean.

I also remember this day really well because it was the first time I ate Pho. It was delicious.

What's funny about this photo is the fact that when my husband saw it, he thought he took it - so that means it must be a good photo. I actually had to regail him with the above information to prove that I took it. The reflection on Hanna's eye is from Phoenix's watch - the sun was catching it and making relections on Hanna face. I tried to take a couple but this is the only one that really turned out.
